As we have previously advised, and as per the Nov 24th Enterprise article “SouthCoast Wind Project Remains Paused in Falmouth“, despite various stumbling blocks, and the cancelation of power purchase agreements with Massachusetts utilities, the SouthCoast Wind project is very clearly moving forcefully ahead. This is clearly evidenced by the following:
UCONN anonymous random survey via postcard
As we have previous informed members, the University of Connecticut is conducting an anonymous survey using random sampling of Falmouth residents and property owners regarding the siting of SouthCoast Wind’s proposed cable landfall, cable corridor and substation. If you have received the attached postcard in the mail, we would encourage all members to complete the survey on line, which they say should take only about 8-10 minutes. This will assist in having our opinion heard as opposed to just that of perhaps that of another part of town.
