On Friday 12/17/21, Massachusetts selected Vineyard Wind (Commonwealth Wind) and Mayflower Wind to provide another 1600 MW cumulatively of wind generated electricity to the state. Both wind companies are already working on 800 MW projects for the state. Vineyard Wind I is already under the early stage of construction while Mayflower Wind is currently in the federal review process.
