The handicap ramp has been built at the Heights Beach parking lot.
The materials came from the Messina Fund, the DPW Highway Department prepped the site, and the Sheriff’s Department provided the labor with inmates from the Barnstable county Sheriff’s Department.
The ramp is functional and in conjunction with the new large-wheeled beach chairs, which can be reserved through the Beach Department, will make access to the beach easy for our handicapped citizens and visitors.
