Spring into Summer June Party a popular event!
On Sunday, June 9, 2019, about 150 FHMNA members and interested neighbors gathered at Soprano’s By the Sea. It was a glorious day and many enjoyed the spectacular view of Vineyard Sound on the outside deck. There were appetizers galore including a buffet of meatballs, pasta and Mediterranean specialties. Smooth Jazz background music added to the convivial atmosphere. Amidst the flowing conversations in the room, many attendees made new friends and acquaintances. The FHMNA’s Spring Into Summer Social is a “must” to kick off the season in our neighborhood!

Summer Dinner Dance a success!
On Thursday, August 15, 2019, many FHMNA members and guests enjoyed an evening of friendly conversation, dining, and dancing at The Coonamessett Inn for our Summer Dinner Dance. A wonderful night began with sunset cocktails on the patio, followed by a buffet dinner and dancing in the ballroom with music provided by DJ Dance With Lance.
Attendees heard music that included Motown and standards from Frank Sinatra to Tony Bennett as well as dance favorites Earth, Wind & Fire, Pointer Sisters, and Bruno Mars. Many requests filled the night: Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and Nat King Cole among them. It was a perfect way to meet members and make new friends.
