The Massachusetts Energy Siting Board (EFSB) will be holding a “public comment hearing” regarding the Mayflower Project via **zoom video conference on March 24th, 2022 at 7:00pm.

The Zoom conference will include a Mayflower overview presentation of the Project and an opportunity for Officials and the Public to ask questions or to comment on the proposed Project.
Anyone wishing to comment via Zoom during the âPublic Comment Hearingâ must register in advance by sending an email to geneen.bartley@mass.gov, with your name, email address, and mailing address **by Wednesday March 23, 2022,

Written comments on the Project must be submitted by 5:00pm April 7th, 2022, and must be filed in two places:
(1) to dpu.efiling@mass.gov and robert.j.shea@mass.gov.
The text of the email must include: (a) The Docket No. EFSB 21-03/D.P.U. 21-142/21-143; (b) your name, title and phone number; and (c) a brief description of the document.
(2) to Counsel for Mayflower Wind, Eric K. Runge of Day Pitney LLP at ekrunge@daypitney.com
Three (3) Mayflower petitions are before the EFSB for review:
– G.L. c. 164, 69j Determine whether Mayflowerâs project would provide reliable energy supply for the Commonwealth with minimum impact on the environment at the lowest possible cost.
– G.L. c. 164, 72 Determine whether the proposal is necessary for the purposes stated, serves the
public convenience, and is consistent with the public interest.
– G.L. c. 40A, 3 Determine whether the requested zoning exemptions in Falmouth are required for the project and whether the present or proposed use of the land or structures is reasonably necessary for the public convenience or welfare.
