The Black Dogâs entertainment license application was reviewed by the Board of Selectmen on 3/9/20 and continued until Monday, 3/23/20. It has now been taken off the Selectmenâs meeting agenda until further notice, possibly the end of April or sometime in May, depending on the track of the coronavirus. We will let you know when it comes back on the agenda. (5/14/20.: POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)

TOWN HALL TEMPORARY CLOSURE TO THE PUBLIC EFFECTIVE 3 PM WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 2020
Dear Fellow Falmouth Resident,
In support of state and national public health and safety directives regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, effective at 3PM on Wednesday, March 18 Falmouth Town Hall and all Town municipal offices are closed to the public until further notice. Town employees will remain at their positions and working during normal business hours in continued support of basic Town municipal services. All municipal operations will remain in place, including all Public Safety-related services of Police, Fire, Marine and Environmental Services and Public Works. Regular neighborhood residential trash and recycling services will continue. All financial and basic administrative services of the Town of Falmouth remain in place and functioning.
Meetings of non-regulatory Boards and Committees are suspended for 1-2 months pending the resolution of this coronavirus pandemic. Periodic meetings of Falmouthâs regulatory Boards will continue in an adjusted format, consistent with the authority granted under the open meeting directive of Governor Baker. This includes the Board of Selectmen, Conservation Commission, Board of Health, Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.
I thank fellow residents for their understanding and support during this most challenging time. Those persons who so desire may insert payments on taxes due or applications for specific Town permits at a “drop box” provided adjacent to the main front entryway to Town Hall. You are also strongly encouraged to transact such business on-line or via the mail for these same transactions. Contractors/applicants or others who have plans and applications or related materials to drop off for review by the Building Department, Conservation Commission, Health Department, Planning Department, Zoning Board of Appeals or Veterans Services may do so by placing them in the “drop mailboxes” adjacent to the rear entry to Town Hall.
The Town of Falmouth is cooperating closely with its Board of Health and the Commonwealth Department of Public Health in actions being undertaken to mitigate the impact of this pandemic. We all regret this temporary inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and support. This public closure step is critical to protect the health and safety of Falmouth Town employees as well as the public, allowing us to continue providing vital municipal services. Working collaboratively in this manner will facilitate a reasonable return to normalcy and normal operations to benefit those we are so privileged to serve.
Julian M. Suso,
Falmouth, Massachusetts Town Manager
