Tuesday, 1/17/23, the Save Greater Dowses Beach group held a public meeting at the Osterville Village Library to a standing-room only crowd.
The video of this meeting on YouTube is a MUST SEE as they prepared an excellent Power Point presentation.
From the Save our Beach website: “A Connecticut-based utility company, Avangrid Renewables, has plans for a multi-year, heavy construction project at Osterville’s beloved Dowses Beach. Their plan includes the installation of a very large (1200KW) submarine power cable from offshore wind turbines under the sound where we swim, the beach, the parking lot, and the causeway at Dowses. Avangrid says they will proceed whether or not there is public opposition.”
