The Falmouth in the Fall Road Race is Sunday, 11/5/23 beginning in Woods Hole at 11 AM with participants racing to the Finish Line at Falmouth Heights.
There will be approximately 850-900 runners. The start area on Water St. will be closed for a very short time just before 11 until the three runner ‘pulses’ leave WH by approximately 11:06.
This is an open course with no other road closures until the finish line where one block will be closed to ensure the safety of all runners, volunteers, and spectators. To volunteer, visit their website.
Information specific to Falmouth Heights:
- There will be limited equipment and set up for this small community event (i.e., on the ballfield there will be a medical tent, a Dunkin’ donuts vehicle, and some porta-potties which will be delivered Friday and picked up early Monday morning.)
- At the finish line, Grand Ave at Walden will close to Mass Ave. to Nantucket to the ballfield, including Central Park Ave. from approximately 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM.
