The town is studying five locations to discharge treated wastewater via an outfall pipe into Vineyard Sound: Fay Beach, Elm Road, Mill Road, Kite Park in Falmouth Heights and Maravista Avenue. Water is currently discharged into the ground next to the wastewater treatment facility in West Falmouth and has contributed to the declining health of West Falmouth Harbor.
