The home at 200 Grand Avenue, next to the Falmouth Heights Beach parking lot, has seen better days.
A 3,800-square-foot Colonial-style house at the edge of the Falmouth Heights Beach parking lot has sold for $3.65 million, despite years of visible decline that have left the once-grand property in rough condition.
The property at 200 Grand Avenue changed hands on February 12, according to deed records.
The buyer, Kidderbrook LLC, is registered as a Delaware limited liability company.
The seller was Michell A. Papazian, acting individually and as trustee of the Clement E. Papazian and Marian Y. Papazian Family Trust.
According to the town assessor’s record card, the house sits on 0.43 acres. Built around 1912, the seaside residence had remained in the Papazian family since 1987.
The beachfront home includes five bedrooms and four bathrooms. However, the structure shows signs of significant deterioration: windows are boarded up, sections of the rear exterior are patched with wooden boards, the roofline is crumbling and the front columns and entryway are in disrepair.
The property is one of just three homes located on the beach side of Grand Avenue.
