Below is an announcement of a Conservation Commission (ConCom) meeting on Wednesday April 13, regarding the dredging of the Perch Pond outlet into Great Pond providing “beach nourishment” to the beach head between Harrington and English Streets. This outlet has been dredged in the past with mixed reviews on the quality of “nourishment” materials which one of our members said contained broken bottles, wire and other undesirable materials. We have been informed that the quality of the dredged material is a component of the project over which ConCom has jurisdiction.
